It feels like it was just yesterday when I made my first blog. It was a way to kill time as a teenager. It seemed like the perfect outlet. The gift of sharing is the greatest thing any man, woman or child can give. I was in narnia. The time was around 2006, there was an entire legion of fresh faced, innocent bloggers. Not a huge army by any means but a strong one. We were not very many in numbers. But we were all close. Back then all new releases would get passed around in a circle among us. Every blogger was tight with each other. The internet was young back then. This was way way way before the independent rap mixtape era explosion of the late 2000s. Back then you would see the same new tape in just about every blog you visited. We all wanted to be young Ivans' or aspired to be the next Nottingham. This was a magical time. No worries clouded anybody's mind. Not one. We all just wanted to share with the world. All of us did. There was only 3 main sites for us to distribute our tastes (zshare, rapidshare and megaupload) ...and that was all we needed. Blogspot was on fire.Fast Forward 6 or so years. The internet seems like the aftermath of a WWII attack. The survivors are all alone. They are panicking. People are scrambling. We mourn over lost souls. We are lost. We don't know what to expect. We don't know where to go. We don't know what to do. The dream of that young teenager who just wanted to share with the world has now been shattered. Shrapnel is all the remains now. We are in ruins. We all just got caught in the crossfire. This is War. #leggo
